Notes: Eilers and Roosa report seven species of Sagittaria in Iowa (S. brevirostra, S. calycina, S. cristata, S. cuneata, S. graminea, S. latifolia, and S. rigida) These are found in shallow water and muddy or marshy regions along river and lake shores.
