Scientific Name: Monotropa hypopitys
Common Name: Pine-sap

Notes: Nomenclature changes, which include the genus Monotropa, are being debated as I write. It appears that Monotropa hypopitys will become Hypopitys americana. It is one of a number of achlorophyllous plants which may be given a new taxonommic position.
